NFSI Community Update - June 2022

Dear Friends,
The containers we purchased in May, one 40 foot container with double doors (front and back) and two 20 foot containers, arrived at COVE on June 15 freshly painted and looking great (see photos below). 30 new BOBS arrived in Halifax on June 24. However, due to shortages of container trucks they will only be delivered to our facility at COVE in July. We offered the Marine Instrument Technologist position to the top ranked candidate and are hoping that this hire will be completed in July. We are still struggling with scheduling ship time for 2022 but are making progress regarding the Laurentian Fan recovery cruise, which we hope will happen in August.
